Job Description
A reputable Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Company located in Tema, is seeking a very dynamic, competent, detail oriented, hardworking and dedicated Senior Accountant.

Job Description/Duties include but not limited to:
• Prepare financial reports
• Perform research and analysis
• Maintain the general ledger
• Perform account reconciliations
• Prepare tax returns
• Assist with audit preparations, and carry out other accounting duties
• Any other duties which may be assigned
• Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
• Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure
• Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
• Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
• Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
• Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.

Required Skills or Experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Miniumum 5 years working experience
• Detailed and highly organized
• Solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Be able to work with little supervision and perform under pressure
• Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willing to work on Saturdays and some holiday
