JOB DETAILS:
• Obtaining, analyzing and evaluating account books, statements, ledgers, and accounting systems for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures
• Ensure that the organization is complying with relevant laws and rules regarding internal control system.
• Evaluate internal control and make recommendations on how to improve
• Assess financial operations and make best-practices recommendations to management
• Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
• Investigate fraud and/or possible corruptions
• Present findings to upper management in the form of reports and presentations, and offer suggestions and opinions (Unqualified, qualified, adverse, or disclaim)

Required Skills or Experience
• The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and a sound judgement.
• Must have proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
• Must have the ability to communicate orally with management and accounts
• Must have high attention to details with a good eye to detect errors
• Must be able to improve processes for finding and eliminating waste and fraud
• Must have good report writing
• Must have advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
• Must be able to work in autonomy
• Must be adaptable to change
• Must be able to sit for extended periods
• Must have Bsc in Accounts or Finance with proven experience in an Auditing Firm
