JOB DETAILS:
• We have an exciting opportunity for adventurous, experienced, and open-minded individuals to join our team.
• We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Top-hammer, surface blast hole drillers to join an international project to help our client achieve maximum efficiency in their surface drilling operations.
• You will be operating the surface drill as a production driller, and are expected to meet safety standards and production targets as set by the client in a very highly regulated country.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug screen, and National police clearance
• Experience on Epiroc T45’s and/or Sandvik Dp1500i
• Current first aid/CPR and fire extinguisher qualifications preferred but not essential
• Prior work history in Drill and blast operations on a mine site.
• Be self-motivated with the ability to work safely.

Knowledge skill and ability
Must have:
• Minimum 5 yrs Top Hammer drilling experience
• Minimum of 3 yrs drilling with Epiroc T45 drills
• Able to work for extended periods in foreign country
• High school diploma or literacy equivalent
• Excellent command of the English language
• Advanced communication skills

Beneficial
• Sandvik Dp1500i series experience
• Any OEM training certificates
• Drill supervisor or trainer experience
• Relative experience working outside Ghana
• A valid certificate for specific equipment
• Knowledge of the work management process, planning, and scheduling.
• Knowledge of relative health and safety standards and policies.
• Time management skills
• Ability to work independently.
• Deftness and attention to detail
• Willing to work in a diverse environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
